Kashayam (கஷாயம்) to cure normal cold and fever

Dhaniya Pepper Jeera Betal Leaves Papaya leaves Ginger It cures normal fever, cough, flum. If there is no fever we can make without papaya leaves. Add little jaggary for taste. Dhaniya Pepper is added with it Add Jeera after frying these a bit Fry till it becomes reddish After frying it mix these in a mixie. If rock candy (panam kalkandu) available it is better to add as it reduces the cough. 4 glasses of water 4 glasses of water to be boiled till it reduces to 2 glasses. 3 betal leaves Ginger tender papaya leaves Add jaggary if rock candy is not available Quantity reduced to half. Filter this.
