Flu symptoms are similar to cold symptoms, but there are two things that make the flu stand out. One being a very high fever usually with the flu the fevers are at least 101, 102 or higher. And then there are body aches. Just random, severe, quick onset body aches, muscle aches, chills That come along with the flu, that you usually don’t see with the typical cold. So, if you are having cold symptoms, plus a high fever and body aches, there is a good chance chance that you may possible have the flu or some other infection that is a little more serious than the common cold.
