Alogliptin and Pioglitazone Work to Control Blood Sugar Levels – Overview

Alogliptin and pioglitazone is a prescription
medication used in combination with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in
adults with type 2 diabetes. It is a combination product that contains
two medications: alogliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor and pioglitazone, a thiazolidinediones. This medication comes in tablet form and is
taken once a day, with or without food. Common side effects include cold-like symptoms,
back pain, and stuffy or runny nose.
